Selection Committee Created for Porto Moniz Agricultural Fair Awards
With the aim of enhancing the Porto Moniz Agricultural Fair, the Regional Government, through Order no. 169/2026, has created the Selection Committee (SC) for the livestock sector. This committee will be responsible for evaluating and classifying the producers and exhibitors applying for monetary awards, as stipulated in Ordinance no. 359/2025.
The committee is composed of the following members:
- President: Eng. Filipe André Jesus Freitas (Senior Technician at DRA)
- Effective Member: Dr. Marcia Encarnação dos Santos Melim (Senior Technician at DRA)
- Effective Member: Eng. Bárbara Maria Ferreira Freitas Ladeira (Senior Technician at DRPec)
The SC is autonomous in its deliberations, and the process of awarding prizes must be completed within three days after the event concludes.
